Fair point. But due to daily spammer activities it won't be possible to stop all mod actions even when they are arbitrary because there are other sections too aside from those under discussions.

In the old md we had the expiring redirect mod feature so we conveniently merged with 10 hours redirect time. That feature is not available in this site. That's one of the causes of the pain. In order to give advantage for uploaders, we've not enforced instant merger so far. Looks like we have to.

Please list all incorrect/inconsistent mod actions observed.

1. Merging some but not other threads for the same reason.
2. @Mehadi Hasan said mods were not mentioning model/actress names (I assume even when they're available at source) but issuing warning for others if they don't mention.

What else ?

Are you explaining thats being considered or are you saying the status quo(read: arbitrary action by some mods) will remain till whatever needs to be sorted backend is complete in a few weeks/months?

Being considered.

When I said 'it won't be possible to stop all mod actions' what I meant was banning spammers, repeat violators, etc. There are few spammers creating multiple ids and spamming on a daily basis. If we don't act they turn the site into junkyard by dump violating videos very soon.

The status quo reply was for the point raised by Suzy.

We first send PMs, then issue reminder notice and then only go for warning. This does not apply to spammers/alias IDs. A lot of users create alias IDs to circumvent the ban process and deliberately violate to get downloads using multiple alias accounts. We won't give any notice or warning for them. They come under the spammer category and will get instant ban and deletion of threads.

Anyways, I digress from the actual issue being discussed. Regarding the issues raised, our mods team is not active enough and we'll work on it. But we need to know all issues/inconsistencies from mods aside from the 2 points mentioned here: https://masaladesi.club/thread-discussio...#pid306843

Theres no need to ban anybody. Thats bordering on a vintage bygone era. Majority of adult forums nowadays simply revoke posting rights for spammers while still allowing influx of traffic.

Regarding FF and the site not keeping up-to-date with the current era, it's worth realizing the status quo. This is an adult forum hosting desi adult content. That brings a lot of limitations to us because of the law of the land. Remember, GF with all his experience, expertise, ultra hyperactive mods team that was huge, large user base and massive content himself could not keep the site going any further. If you keep comparing this site to the old MD before another 7-8 years, all you will get is just frustration.

Give it time and see how it goes.

:nana: I'm not accusing anyone here except darkaxe and I'm ignoring your part now. There were reasons to get violent. Anyway ignoring all those rants in this thread.

Regarding FF I just pointed out the drawbacks, I'm not blaming. Anyone as a downloader will go for a easy download and in turn the uploader will get lesser downloads. Once the download falls it's certain that they will move to sites those fetch high downloads.

If I intended to blame I would blame the payment procedure first. To be honest it lacks professionalism. You must have seen in the FF thread in the main sec. Still let it be, it is secondary.

I agree with whiz that if you post different links at same place a streaming link gets highest view followed by no captcha sites then normal file hosts and lastly FF that too if they don't get the files in any links or got premium. Additionally, there are several sites those have banned FF links.

The first thing I would like to say that the admin group must focus on equality.

In any open site, repost is unavoidable. Starting from admin even a first time poster can make a repost. There are several factors.

Removing is fine but when it comes to warning it should it noted if the ID is a regular spammer or a first timer or mistake or some other reasons.

As Dicky has mentioned he got warned for posting with wrong prefix. Though I'm not completely aware of his case but I could see that he has a noob status in this ID. As you know this scares away new posters.

Once I posted 2 clips from one youtube video so that the downloaders need not download about 500 mb of data but darkaxe again removed one of my threads. I asked him he said I'm spamming. I don't know if different clips are considered spam here, I didn't care to go through the rules at that time as I was aware of his habit of implementing his own rules.

So What If Newly Registered Users Have Their Posting Status Revoked For A Period Of 7, 15, Or 30 Days? This Might Reduce Spam Activity.

They will start after the lock period. Many spammers currently have IDs older than an year.

Booby knows an easy technique to stop spammers. I don't want to discuss that in open. Yes, that's an extreme punishment but hardcore spammers must be handled with iron hand.

Ex: Concerning FF and its dl restrictions, same file uploaded on ff, stmtp, fup, dpdl yielding different downloads though viewed same number of time on both sites(about 500) -

1. Dpdl with original file quality and no timer leading with 52 dls
2. Stmtp with compressed but streaming files with 39 dls
3. Followed by ff with 21 dls

In instances where same file is posted here as well as other sites, numbers between 1 & 2 varies, but is never surpassed by ff.
But in cases where ff link is posted as a choice among other hosters on the same site, it falls way below threshold.

Same case with many other files. Free users always opt for easier, high speed dls without restrictions.
