first add file then goto output tab. there select "By Parts Based on Timestamps. and in the input field below. write timestamps!
e.g if you want to cut video from 5 min to 10 min, write:
00:05:00-00:10:00

Before saving/merging or hitting okk
there is a field just above that button
"Destination File" or something.
change abc.mkv to abc.m2ts
This tool does not loose any quality of the video.
